Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox received a scholarship to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. The money she earned came from a student allowance and took in part-time jobs to increase her funds. Lennox, while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy about her performances in comparison to the other students. Then she began to consider alternatives. Lennox played the flute in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop group. This is where she first got to know Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her solo debut album Diva that was out in 1992. It became a huge critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October 2014. This C.D. Lennox chose her favorite blues and soul from early childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P.
