Dakota Blue Richards
Dakota Blue Richards was born in England and is an English actress. She's played Lyra Belaqua in the film 'The Golden Compass', as well as Franky Fitzgerald for the British young drama Skins. Additionally, she has been active on stage, performing in productions of plays like 'Arcadia' and 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. Richards is a London native, Richards grew up in Sussex. She attended a few theater classes in her high school, but she mostly took training in acting on weekends. In addition, she went to school only for auditions. The first time she appeared on screen as an actor came in "The Golden Compass. Richards was generally praised for her performance, even although the film got only moderate critiques. Her television debut came that year, in the documentary Dustbin Baby.
